Museum Cafe Sam

Entrance fee is JPY1000 for adults, the museum mainly involves collections of artworks of Ikuo Hirayama, Sato Churyo and Kichizaemon Raku. It’s to bring us to understand the origins of Japanese artworks, and to a certain extent it’s actually a very good place to visit, very nice “floating” and contemporary building. I personally quite like the works from Sato Churyo, very lively sculptures!

Shiga Prefecture seems to have a lot of nice museums, and this one is my favorite. Absolutely beautiful architecture!

I visited for the first time. It is a wonderful museum. There is a very large building on a large site near the lake. It is a modern art museum with a Japanese style silhouette in a flat house. The exhibition is full of works by Ikuo Hirayama, Tadayoshi Sato and Saemon Rakuyoshi. It is a spacious and easy-to-view room, and it is a wonderful exhibition room where you can carefully face the work. Above all, Ikuo Hirayama's work has the best volume and content. Especially in the exhibition room of Rakuyoshizaemon, you can face the sharp works by turning off the lights. Planned exhibitions will also be held, so if there is another opportunity, I would definitely like to visit.
